Lauri believes it is important to find ways to give back to our community. It doesn't always have to be money - it can be volunteering your time, or even offering your professional services.

--Platte Forum: PlatteForum is a one-of-a-kind art + education center. It is a community-centered space where artists create work, collaborate with young
people, and present work to the public through exhibitions and performances. Opened in Autumn of 2002, PlatteForum is an entirely new experience that blends three cornerstones of community: art, education and youth. As a non-profit community arts organization, PlatteForum connects underserved youth with artists through student workshops. The resulting student art, as well as selections from the artist's body of work are exhibited jointly at PlatteForum. Check out their site for upcoming Openings & Events!

--Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS): Since 1993, SOS, a grassroots charity, has introduced over 5,000 kids to snowboarding. We use our passion for the outdoors to serve kids. Each SOS program focuses on 5 core values: Courage, Discipline, Integrity, Wisdom, and Compassion. People say that we work with "at-risk" kids. SOS is trying to change the image of what it means to be at-risk. We believe that we are "at-risk" if we do not serve others. The Snowboard Outreach Society asks everyone to serve someone, spread the love and pull us all out of the "at-risk" population.

“Thank you for the huge amount of work you did for our first eBall. Not only was it the most successful inaugural event we’ve had, but we did it all without printed invites – which meant the burden was on you to get the word out. Not only did you get on every calendar in the state, but knowing where all the calendars are is proving to be quite useful. Thank you!”
